Steps to Unlock the Bootloader:

1. On your phone, open settings << Additional Settings << Privacy << Device Administration << Android Device Manager and enable it.  
2. Go to MIUI Unlock Page and sign in with your MI Account.
3. Provide your details and apply for permissions
4. You will receive an SMS within 5 days for unlocking the bootloader.
   
   
   
5. After receiving the reply, don't do anything for next 5 days and wait for another 5 days.
6. Extract the downloaded MI Unlock Tool.
7. Open MI Unlock Tool and log in with the same MI Account that you used for sending the permissions.
8. Power off your phone and press volume down key and power button at the same time for 10 seconds and your device will boot into the fast boot mode.
9. Connect your phone in fast boot mode to the computer.
10. Click on unlock on the MI tool and the percentage goes from 0 to 100.
11. Soon your will receive a message on screen saying "Congratulations Unlocked Successfully".

What to do if unlocking the bootloader stuck at 50% or says couldn't verify your device?

 This problem can be fixed if you wait for next 5 days after receiving the permission. And make sure that your phone is running a developers ROM. If you follow above mentioned each and every instruction carefully then you can unlock the bootloader without any issues.

I managed to get it on my moto g with the help of custom recovery. Therefore, I present you a quick overview of Android N 7.1 which is running absolutely fantastic on my device. This version of android was developed by Cyanogen Mod developers which is termed as CM 14.1 and if you do not like this ROM then you can go for lineage OS which is also based on android nougat. Lineage OS is almost similar to CM 14.1 but has some additional features.

Features of Android Nougat 7.1

• The First Feature is about the 3d touch which makes your task easy and it was previously available only on Apple devices.
• Now you can open camera by just double clicking the power button. You get the new UI of Camera. You can adjust ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed and Exposure as well. 
• You can switch between apps by just double tapping on the recent button.

• You can enable System UI Tuner by long pressing the settings icon in the notification panel. This helps you customize tiles according to your liking.

As every coin has two sides, nougat update also have some pros and cons. The bugs are limited and can be fixed anytime soon by their developers.

• Battery Drain-Many Android N users are facing the heavy drain after the nougat update. However, it can be fixed with some hidden tweaks.
• Night Mode not working- To enable the night mode, you need to download an app called Night Mode Enable from the play store.

Best things to do after the marshmallow update on your android smartphone

Now you can set permissions for Facebook to use your camera, microphone, contacts, gallery, microphone, location. If you turn off the camera for Facebook then Facebook will no longer be able to use the camera on your device.

The additional tip for you is to adjust the toggles in notification taskbar. To enable this feature, you need to turn on the system UI tuner which can be done by dragging the notification panel and then long pressing the settings icon.

Note: The above-mentioned features are stock android specific. If you are running android marshmallow on top of MIUI or Touch Wiz UI, then you may not found some of the features mentioned above.
